Kenting National Park Taiwan
Established on January 1, 1984, Kenting National Park was Taiwan’s first national park.
Kenting National Park’s terrain is known for its diversity. It includes mountains, forests, lakes, sand dunes, beaches and coral reefs.
Kenting National Park is fractioned by long and narrow Hengchun Longitudinal Valley Plain into north and south.

Kenting National Park contains 15 species of mammals, 310 species of birds, 50 species of reptiles and amphibians, 216 species of butterflies and 21 species of freshwater fish.
Kenting National Park is frequented by lot of migratory birds. In fact 75% of the birds in the Park are migratory.

Kenting National Park organizes guided tours to the Park daily from 8.30 to 17.00. Some of the interesting places in the Park include-
Chuanfanshih: A large piece of coral rock sundered from the tableland, it looks like a ship when viewed from afar and when seen from a close range, Chuanfanshih resembles the profile of former U.S. President Richard Nixon.
Maobitou: When translated means Cat's Nose Rock because of the shape of one of the rocks that broke off from the cliff.
Longluantan: is a large lake covering 175 hectares. Ideal for bird watchers since the place remains swarmed by migratory birds.
