Leofoo Village Theme Park Taiwan

Located in Guansi Township in Hsinchu County, Leofoo Village Theme Park is the largest theme park in Taiwan. Leofoo Village Theme Park comprises a well segmented wildlife zoo and four other theme parks. Owing to its size, it is not possible to complete the tour of Leofoo Village Theme Park on a single day.

In Chinese ‘Leo’ means ‘six’ and ‘Foo’ stands for ‘luck’. Thus the park symbolizes six lucks.

Leofoo Village Theme Park: History

Leofoo Village Theme Park was established in 1994. The Park has received an overwhelming response from the domestic as well as the foreign tourists. It took only couple of years after its opening for the number of visitors to the Park to touch the figures of 2.3 million. This figure surpassed Taiwan’s tourist record.

Leofoo Village Theme Park: Attractions

Apart from a wild life zoo, Leofoo Village Theme Park has a four other theme parks-Wild West, Arabian Palace, South Pacific and Safari Park. Newer themes like China Town, the Wildlife and the Fairy Tales are slated to be added to the park.

There are also fun rides like Volcano Adventures, 360 degree Roller Coasters, Pirate Ship, Jurassic Park in Leofoo Village Theme Park. The Park is also planning to include a huge garden and an international hotel.

Leofoo Village Theme Park opens on weekdays from 9 am to5 30 pm and on public holidays it is open from 9 am to 6 pm.
