Khao San Road

Khao San Road in Bangkok is a three block long small street. It is located one block away from the Chao Phraya River in the Banglamphu district. This street in Bangkok is spelled as Khaosan, Kao Sarn, Koh Sarn and many others.

Khao San Road, Bangkok has many pharmacies, internet cafes, money-changing booths, ATMs, shoe stores, laundry, optometrists, accommodations and restaurants. It is a very good place for the backpackers and budget tourists.

Being in Khao San Road, Bangkok (Thailand) you can visit numerous beautiful places. Of these places, The Suan Santichaiprakarn Park is best to see. From this park you can bask in the beauty of the serene Chao Phraya River. Besides, you can also catch the glimpse of the ultra-modern Rama VIII suspension bridge. In this park, numerous activities take place during evenings which include; aerobic exercise, the performing of Thai classical music, juggling and break dancing. So you can relish all these sights too.

Khao San Road in Bangkok is a wonderful place to visit The Grand Palace (Wat Phra Kaew), Wat Po, Sanam Luang Park, Chao Phraya river, Democracy Monument and The Golden Mount (Phu Khao Thong).

There is a Banglamphu market also in Khao San Road. In this market from jeans to Italian sneakers, as well as a few posh Thai silk stores are found. It is famous for wholesale silver jewelry stores also. Besides, there are number of food stalls also in this market area.

There are many restaurants, bars, clubs and pubs in Khao San Road, Bangkok, so finding tasty food and exotic drink is very easy here.
