World Fellowship of Buddhists starts its journey from May 1950. It was established in Colombo, Srilanka. Representatives of 27 countries gathered in the summit and made a new history of Buddhism. Every Buddhist sectors, schools and organization willingly attended that gathering. This organization was established to meet the common interests of the Buddhists of the world. Bangkok is the headquarters of the World Fellowship of Buddhists. It follows the same rules and regulations of the organization. There are various aims and objectives of the World Fellowship of Buddhists. The Bangkok center works on it with tremendous effort. The organization in Bangkok arranges various activities through out the year which help to meet the target of the organization. The Bangkok center of World Fellowship of Buddhists according to the aims tries to build regional centers in the country and encourages the practices of Buddhism. It already established the Dhamma-duta Center. The organization supports and arranges various cultural, social, educational and humanitarian activities every year. World Fellowship of Buddhists in Bangkok promotes the doctrine of Buddhism. The organization also works on Universal brotherhood. The Bangkok center arranges Dhamma talk and meditation practice among the Monks. World Fellowship of Buddhists in Bangkok have earned a heartiest appreciation from the other centers and organization.
