Thailand Creative and Design Center in Bangkok is the Asia’s first learning center for the creative design. It is located in an upmarket location on the 6th floor of the Emporium Shopping Center Complex on Sukhumvit Road in central Bangkok. Among people this center is commonly known as TCDC. Thailand Creative and Design was founded with the aim of encouraging the creative and innovative skills of the country’s young designers. It is an effort by the Thailand Government to establish Thailand as knowledge based country. The center is under the administration of the office of Knowledge Management and Development. Thailand Creative and Design Center acquires 4,490 square meter area of land and it is situated in the sixth floor of The Emporium Shopping Complex.
TCDC or Thailand Creative and Design Center is the home of the state-of-the-art facilities. It has biggest Design library in Asia which comprises more than 15,000 design books, related publication and big range of films, video and other multimedia work. There is a permanent exhibition going on in the center which offers fundamentals of design knowledge and there is a space for the aspiring young creative designer. This space is furnished with 130 seat and modern facilities. Here new designer can exhibit their work without paying anything for the space. Thailand Creative and Design Center is a public organization and it is sponsored by the Royal Thai Government. There is Material Connexion Bangkok which is an internationally famous and only Asian material library. It is a lace which is cherished by all the people with creative mind.
