Cafe de Laos opened in 1999 and serves the haute food of Laos and Issan food. It is an elegant restaurant featuring a wonderful ambience with attentive and generous staff.

While eating here go for the Som Tum Khung. It is essentially a hot and spicy bite made with shredded Papaya and pounded together with a pestle. Alternatives on offer include grilled pork and fresh fish. Papaya can be substituted with Grapefruit and Guava if preferred.

You can also go for the fish dish Miang Pla Chon Gled Hima which is grilled salted freshwater fish served with Miang Condiments that include diced lime and ginger, sliced lemongrass, chilli, peanuts and dried shrimps. Plus Ming sauce with the sticky consistency of chutney made from palm sugar and ground shrimp.

The most ordered soup dish is Kong Duad,a Laos-Ian traditional mild soup with vermicelli noodles, sweet basil, leaves, white lettuce and a choice of beef, pork, chicken or seafood. The food is truly healthy and tasty giving you ultimate satisfaction. It is situated in Soi Silom road.

Lots of great North Thai/ Lao sausage can be tasted in this restaurant. Finally you can go for a dish called lop-stir fried ground pork with lots of herbs served in cabbage leaves and taste the most popular sticky rice dish of Laos. It also offers a wide variety of liquors and beverages.
