Huai Nam Dang National Park, Chiang Mai is situated on top of ridge of hills. This area was called as Doi Sam Muen. Huai Nam Dang National Park, Chiang Mai was a project set up to solve the problem of encroachment of forest land and poaching of wildlife animals. This project was initiated by the king of Thailand.
