Sri Lanna National Park, Chiang Mai is the sixth largest among all the other Chiang Mai Parks and Gardens. The park covers an area of 100,000 hectares. There are two ways to enter the Sri Lanna National Park in Chiang Mai. One of the way leads via Chiangmai-Faang Road and the other entrance is from Chiang Mai-Prao Road. Both entrances to Sri Lanna National Park provide picturesque view of the surrounding.
Sri Lanna National Park boasts of several attractions in Chiang Mai. One of the most important ones among them is the Mae Ngat Dam. The dam is built on the famous Mae Ngat River. Thisdam submerges the valley and forms a large reservoir with innumerable number of tributaries that get spread in the jungle area. The lake flows on an area 1281 square kilometers and is situated in the Mae Ngat Forest.
