La Gondola, Chiang Mai

The La Gondola restaurant is situated on the Charoenraj Road in the Rim Ping Condominium directly opposite to the US consulate. A whole lot of choices are provided to the customers for dining areas along with a comfortable entrance hall, two riverside terraces and an exquisite garden attached to the reception area. The reception hall has beautiful artwork on display that further adds to the beauty of the restaurant.

The restaurant opened in the year 2002 in Chiang Mai and since then has been counted amongst the most popular restaurants of the city. The restaurant is opened on every day of the week though the timings of the restaurant change. On Monday the restaurant is opened from 4 pm to 11 pm and from Tuesday to Sunday the restaurant remains open from 11 am to 11 pm.

The restaurant boasts of using only the finest and fresh ingredients for preparing the food dishes. The main dishes of the restaurant are Garlic Bread with Tomato & Mozzarella Italiana, Italian Parma Ham & Melon, Carpaccio of beef Marinated in Italian Vinegrate, Mixed Leaf Salads, Bacon Bits, Bread Croutons, Bread Croutons and Pan-Grilled Butterfish with House Special Caesar Dressing, Vegetable Soup, Seafood Soup "Tuscany Style", Tomato, Mozzarella, Basil Leaves and Chicken in Tomato Sauce Topped with Mozzarella & Fresh Basil.

The restaurant also holds live Italian entertainment with a classical guitar performance on Friday, Saturday and Sundays from 7:30 pm till 9:30 pm in the evening. The restaurant offers a magnificent river view that acts a major attraction of the restaurant. Other major attractions of the restaurant are a covered swimming pool, fitness center and a mini-mart.
