The Nam Restaurant, Chiang Mai

The restaurant has a H-shaped building made up of teak houses that incorporates a guesthouse, tour counter as well as a gift shop and an art gallery. Tables are set under the covering of some towering trees by the waterside terrace that provides a fabulous view of the Mea Ping River to the diners. The building of the restaurant is further embellished with exquisite woodcarvings of the figures and animals from the Thai tradition and legends.

Though every dish prepared at the restaurant is just superb but some of the
most delicious and the popular dishes of the restaurant are Hor D'oervres Muang,
the Zai Oua, which is a sausage made up of spices like lemon grass, parsley
root, garlic, kafir lime, red shallots and is eaten along with spring onion
leaves. The menu also includes boiled vegetables, pork rind as well as the sauce
made up of crushed pork.
