The Whole Earth Restaurant, Chiang Mai is one of the popular restaurants in Chiang Mai. In fact it is often said that not dining at the Whole Earth restaurant, Chiang Mai is like visiting Paris but not viewing the Seine. The restaurant is situated near the Night Bazaar and enjoys the reputation of providing a wide range of excellent health food items along with a pleasant service.
Perfect setting
The atmosphere of this Chiang Mai restaurant is serene and soothing and is set according to the conventional Thai-style. The restaurant is a Thai wooden style house and surrounded by tropical gardens. It is not very formal as compared to the other popular Thai restaurants. Special care is taken to serve the food in an elegant manner in the non-smoking dining room of the restaurant. There is no admission charge to the restaurant. The restaurant remains open from Monday to Sunday and from 11 am in the morning to 2 pm in the afternoon and from 5 pm to 10 pm in the evening.

The menu of Whole Earth Restaurant in Chiang Mai includes Thai, Indian and vegetable food dishes with a range of starters. The delicious vegetable curry as well as the tempura needs a special mention. Do try the watermelon shake which is not that sugary as can be found in the other Thai restaurants. The staff of the restaurant is welcoming and most speak English.
