The Irish Rover

The Irish Rover, Krabi is the popular pub of Ao Nang Inn. This is a cozy pub, which serves draught Guinness and a whole range of imported beers. A number of patrons come here to read the English papers, or watch the sport.

It is located just off the main beach road, opposite the police station and is perhaps the nicest indoor drinking hole in Ao Nang, Apart from its intoxicating drinks menu the Irish Rover also serves great food and proper breakfasts. The ambience is quite civilized and anything but raucous.

There are two rooms and two self-catering apartments on offer above the bar and are soundproofed. The property owner, Kevin, swears there have been no complaints about noise, even from families with young children, since they opened here.

Apart from the good food and ambience, there is another reason to hang out at the Irish Rover Bar and Grill as it has pool table and provides sports coverage if you need a football fix. The pumping tunes played by the Do are sure to get you to the dance floor. The music is good and the volume is tolerable for all ears.
