Huay Nam Dang National Park

The forest or park was formerly built to get rid of all forest encroachments and many such related issues. The park filled with attractive national parks and forests has been declared as Thailand's 81st National Park occupying an area of 1252 square kilometers.

The Park is situated on a rugged mountaintop and the mountains occupy the famous ranges of Chiang Dao with Doi Chang at 1,962 meters above sea level. Many plants are also found in this park like Red Cedar, Orchids, Tubinatus teak, Crudia Chrysantha.

Huay Nam Dang National waterfall is surrounded by evergreen forests and rocks.

Tha Pai Hot Well contains hot boiling water at the temperature of 80 degrees. The hot water well is located at a distance of 30kilometers from the park.

Lam Nam Mae Taen river is enshrouded by many plants and currents in the water can male it a dangerous trip for all those taking a trip down the river.

Doi Chang Viewpoint enables all those staying on the park to view the magnificent spectacle of orchids hanging from the trees.

The tourists can enter the park by many routes from highway no.1095 that is actually 109 kilometers north to Chiang Mai. Transport like buses are also there from Chiang Mai and cars are also there.
