Ka Jok See Phuket

One of the most popular Asian restaurants in Phuket, Ka Jok See is located on a side street called Takua Pa, in close proximity to the very busy Ratsada Road in Phuket. The term 'Ka Jok See' means 'Stained Glass Window' and the restaurant was built about thirteen years ago by Khun Lek.
Ka Jok see in Phuket is a stylishly built exclusive restaurant hidden behind an ordinary storefront. It invites the guests to an intimate setting created by wood-beamed ceilings, tropical plants and candle-lit antique fixtures, with some soothing classic jazz music for accompaniment. The ambience is in perfect accordance with the historic Sino-Portuguese house where the restaurant is located. The enchanting music and entertainment sessions sometimes continue till the late hours of night.
The food at Phuket Ka Jok See is fabulous and includes some delectable Thai cuisines prepared keeping in mind the Western taste, but it is equally popular among other nationalities, including the local Thais. Specialties served include goong-saroong - a vermicelli-wrapped light-fried shrimp served with a rich mustard dipping sauce. The smoky grilled eggplant and shrimp salad and stir-fried beef curry are also favorites with guests. All the delicacies are prepared in traditional Bangkok style with some finesse that lends them a unique taste and flavor.
