Silk Festival

Khon Kaen is North-east Thailand's major silk production center and this fstival is Khon Kaen's annual celebration of Thai silk. The entire process of silk production, including sericulture and silk weaving is promoted during this festival and the celebrations are staged in front of government houses in Khon Kaen City.

Dok Khoon Siang Khaen Flower Festival

Coinciding with Songkran, or the Traditional Thai New Year, this is a colorful festival featuring floral processions, foot-tapping I-san folk music, dance and lots of fun!
