Ko Phi Phi Island

Ko Phi Phi Island or Phi Phi Island is a very popular tourist destination in Thailand and comprises of Phi Phi Don and Phi Phi Le that are also attractive tourist spots. The island has been unanimously been voted as the third most beautiful island in Thailand and one cannot possibly deny that once they come here. Ko Phi Phi Island is at a distance of 48square kilometers from Phuket and very near the Krabi Islands.

Ko Phi Phi Island provides a wide variety of activities for the tourists to indulge in like snorkeling or a diving experience. One can also visit the caves and coves in boats or tiny mushroom beaches all around the island. The island is the perfect heaven for all diving freaks as they can take dives from limestone cliff rising abruptly out of the sea. Tourists can take a plunge in to the crystal waters of the island and coves of the small cliffs. Popular diving spots are Koh Bida Nok and Golden Point.

Krabi Island is the most popular tourist destination with attractive beaches, waterfalls and caves. Other places worth visiting are Ao Phra Nang Bay, Ao Phrang Nang Beach, Ko Poda and Ko Gai. Day trips are organized Phuket and Krabi island every day but many go there for three four days. However traveling to the island is not a big issue as ferry services are always there starting at 250 baht-one way. Tickets can be purchased in advance. However there are no roads as such on Phi Phi Don but there are boats taking the tourists from one beach to the other.
