Phutthamonthon: This is a buddhist park and its outstanding feature is a52 foot buddha statue that is considered to be the highest free-standing buddha statue of the world.
Sanam Chan Palace: this palace consists of several buildings that are made in a mixture of European and Thai style. Part of the Palace is now used as the campus of Silpakorn University as well as a museum.
Suan Sam Pran: This is a big garden located at the Phetkasem Highway and situated nearby is the Sam Pran Crocodile farm that features live crocodile shows.
Damnoen Saduak Floating Market: this is the best-known floating market in Thailand and it has well connected bus services. The market starts at 8 am and closes at around 11.30 pm.
You can reach Nakhon Pathom by both bus and train. The public buses leave from Bangkok Southern Bus Terminal and these buses run after every 10 minutes from 4.10 till 21.30. The trip takes around 1 hour and costs 40 bahts. Trains from Bangkok's Thonburi train station to Namtok stops at Nakhon Pathom on the way.
