Prachuab Khiri Khan has a past which dates back to the days of the Ayutthaya era . Its exact location is not known but however evidences of its location and history has been found in the various artifacts that have surfaced with time. There is no history of its exact location. The place with time became renowned for its astrological significance. However during the reign of king Rama the vi Pran Buri was named Prachuab Khiri Khan and was made a province.
