If you want to see Thailand at its best and enjoy all it has for you with lest discomfort, visit the country between November and February. You will face less showers and the weather is pleasantly cool. The country is thronged with people during these months and you must remember to make necessary reservations before you leave. Try and avoid the rainy season at all costs for it can totally jeopardize all your plans. The rainy season in Thailand lasts from July to October. However, since Thailand has a varied landscape and regions with different geographical characteristics, it is good to know the climatic features of the particular region you are intending to visit. If you are planning to go trekking to the northern Thailand, which is a hilly region, you must pack some woolen clothes during the months of November and February though for other parts of Thailand, such arrangement is not required. The south east coast of Thailand has yet a different climate that does not tally with the other parts of the country. This region has its rainy season from the time between November and February and the best time to be at the southern coast of Thailand is anywhere between May and October. The summer season in Thailand is not bad either though the temperature, at times, reaches 40-degree Celsius. You can chill out in summer by plunging into the green sea or just relax in the beach as you drink sweet coconut water!
