Ten years in Japan as a painter, sculptor, interior designer and caterer provided Californian Traci Consoli enough experience which manifested itself in the form of Pink Cow (The)-a bar, restaurant, art gallery and event space. She wanted to recreate the atmosphere of her San Francisco Bay Area home in Tokyo and this resulted in the creation of Pink Cow (The). Its clientele include young and old, indigenous and foreigners. As strange as it may sound the interior of this bar cum art gallery keeps changing every month. An artist herself Traci Consoli understands that it is very important to encourage new artists. There are frequent exhibitions by artists from Tokyo. The layout in this non-Roppongi bar is quite irregular. There are a number of alcoves and corners most of which face the central stage area. It also includes some of Consoli’s own work. Pink Cow (The) is different from the other bars in Tokyo. It is a quiet place, an exact opposite of the others which are famous for their loud ambience. As smoking is not allowed till after dinner except for the glassed-in bar, Pink Cow (The), Tokyo provides a relief from the inevitable smoke in the other hangouts. Dining at Pink Cow (The) Pink Cow (The) is also a well known restaurant offering delicious and nutritious food. The restaurant serves lip-smacking chicken and bean burrito (Yen 1,470). Delicious buffets are served by the chef on Fridays and Saturdays from 7pm to 10pm. It will cost around Yen 2,625 per person. The buffet includes international dishes ranging from grill and hot dishes to salads cheese and deserts. Special dishes include roast chicken with steamed veggies and mashed potatoes, beef stroganoff, and couscous. Desert specialty includes the Amazing Cow Chocolate Brownie. But Pink Cow (The) is primarily a bar which maintains exquisite wines. Music at Pink Cow (The) Pink Cow (The) has live music by various DJs. They play cool groovy music. As the bar has an international clientele the music too is multicultural, including African, Indian, Arabic and Latin. The music has the guests dancing to its beats. It also arranges for special presentation by guest performers from time to time. Great music is a great compliment to the sumptuous and delicious food at Pink Cow (The). Parties at Pink Cow (The) Traci Consoli and her brainchild Pink Cow (The) are excellent at arranging parties for all occasions, be it birthday, wedding or company reception. They believe that a wedding should reflect the couple and accordingly make arrangements. A wedding party here gives you free access to a DJ booth, a stage and a projector. Nightlife in Tokyo is all about variety. Apart from the Pink Cow (The) you have other luminaries like the bar-cum-restaurant-cum-entertainment center at the Sekirei.
