This International Airport in Sharjah also has five cargo terminals. Its total floor area of 32,000 square meters is served by separate cargo aircraft parking positions. It is equipped for loading 14 narrow bodied or 10 wide-bodied aircraft or a combination of both. Two additional cargo aircraft parking areas are also available to accommodate up to 16 narrow bodied aircraft of different types. It is also the only airport globally where two aircraft can swap their complete loads simultaneously.
