Water skiing is believed to be originated in early 1920s, on the French Riviera. It’s an enigmatic feeling when you are being towed by a motorboat and you cut through the surface of water as the boat speeds up through the sea. If you are going for recreational water skiing, which is offered by many beach resorts in Hoi An, then you can choose the ski type and tow rope length of your own choice. You can also control the speed of the boat and make it slow or fast according to your convenience. Although, if you take part in a skiing competition then the ski, tow rope, and the speed of the boat will be fixed. The tournaments comprises of three different events namely Slalom, jumping, and Trick Riding.
The other popular water sports of Hoi An are wind surfing, parasailing, jet skiing, snorkeling, and rainbow diving. At Cu Lao Cham Marine Park you can come across as many as 155 species of corals, about 202 special of fish, 84 species of mollusks, and 4 types of lobsters.
