Major Sports venues in Hue

Hue has carved its name in the list of the famous cities for its eternal beauty and the historic importance. The city is visited by thousands for its architectural splendor, grand buildings and venues. Over the years the city has gradually developed as a major tourist attraction in Vietnam and now is gradually coming up as a major sporting attraction as well. Major Sport's venues in Hue are now coming which has definitely helped in the growth of sports in the province.

The National administration is trying hard to promote Hue as a combination of sports, cultural and tourism activity centre. The developments are happening thick and fast with Hue already playing host to the National Sports Meet in 2004 for the students. From the gala opening ceremony to the total event the sports complex made the event a huge success.

The city abodes two major sporting venues of which the Tu Do Stadium is the one, which offers better facilities. These complexes are even used for the cultural events in the city such as Hue's Third Cultural Festival. The Tu do stadium has the facility of hosting most of the sporting events in the city. During the national meets most of the events too place in the Tu do Stadium only. The local and the national Football league matches are also held at the stadium.

Hue also has different sporting venues for different sports. For physical exercises the chief complexes are the Sport Centre at 35 Nguyen Hue Street, Freedom Stadium and Sport Centre of Hue University. For swimming the swimming pool at 2 Le Quy Don Street is the best.
