Have you heard of the nine steps to heaven? This temple with an architectural magnificence of nine levels representing those steps to heaven will introduce you to an unparallel prayer session at noon.
After having you breakfast in the morning, head for Tay Ninh to see the ornate temple of Cao Dai and attend the fantastic mid-day service. During this prayer session you will see the followers fill the hall wearing tinted robes, a representation of the interested blend of the Confucianism, Taoism and Buddhism.
Broadly speaking, Cao Dai is an endeavor to produce an ideal fusion of world religions. It is a grouping of Christianity, Buddhism, Islam, Confucianism, Hinduism, Geniism, and Taoism. Recognized in the Southern parts of Vietnam in the early 1920's, the religion was formally codified in 1926. The operation center of Cao Daism is situated in the Tay Ninh region.
Literally standing for lofty tower or palace, Cao Dai-a metaphor for the spender of spiritual growth, talks about the inner philosophy of the duty that the faithful devotees perform for themselves, for their family, for society and for the world at large. Much like Confucianism, this element of the Philosophy pertains to how the individual functions within the context of the community.

2. There are men playing string instruments during the prayer with a dozen young ladies singing.
3. The building is cavernous and the music flows gently through it.
4. The building is painted annually. The colors are beautiful and so bright.
5. You cannot be in front of the first priest. He does not wish to be distracted by seeing people.
6. The Temple grounds are extensive and there are many beautiful gardens with potted plants.
