| "We recently stayed at the Swissotel whilst in Istanbul. The properties facilities were very good and the location is also quite good however the price was over the top!! Like some of the other comments we too found this hotel very expensive and we are by no means struggling for money..
Two glasses of "house" wine at the roof top bar was around 50 lira (aprox 45USD), a local beer in any of the cafes or by the pool 20 lira (17USD). The internet was rediculous, WIFI 25 Euro per day (50 USD) and to use it in the business centre was 10 Euro for 15 minutes (18USD). If you are wondering why I mention prices in Lira and in Euro thats because this hotel seems to charge some things in Lira and some things in Euro and as you know the is a very BIG difference.. We stayed 2 nights had a few drinks and one meal in the very average Japanese cafe plus used the business center for about 30 minutes and was presented with a checkout bill of in excess of $500 USD. I have stayed at some of the worlds most luxurious hotels where the extras are far closer to acceptable. " |

| "We really enjoyed our 3 nights stay at the Swisshotel. The room was clean and quite big. The swimming-pool was really great and the staff friendly. The food was a little bit expansive but well it's a five star so can't be cheap! Going to downtown was not expansive by cab.
We will definetely recommend this hotel!" |
