Malmaison Edinburgh Hotel, the first ever Malmaison, celebrates its 10th birthday this September. It is a majestic 100-room site that stands tall with its striking castle-like facade overlooking the recently rejuvenated bohemian harbour of the Port of Leith, a 15 minute walk from Edinburgh city centre.
Built in 1883 as a seaman’s mission on the bustling shore of Leith this beautiful yet imposing building has several turrets and a clock tower.The mission was a focal point for the people of Leith and became iconic to the tired sailors arriving on shore.
