The Hotel is located in the Tollcross district of the city centre. The West End and Princes Street's shops are just a ten minutes walk or so from the Hotel and in the immediate vicinty there are theatres, cinemas, traditional and modern bars, and a wide range of restaurants, bistros and coffee shops. All rooms have ensuite facilites and the public areas were all refurbished in December 2001.
An elevator serves the three upper floors. A pleasantly appointed residents bar and lounge is located on the ground floor, adjacent to the hotel's breakfast room
