The size of the room, the large desk, bright windows, quality of the bed and linens, free wireless Internet access, and location made it a good choice for me. The hotel is across the street from Chinatown, 10 minutes walk to the Restaurants and Coffee Shops on Columbus, 10 minutes from the Embarcadero and Ferry Building, and 10 minutes to Union Square and downtown shopping. Next time I'll try for a room on a higher floor to provide a view and cut out street noise.
