"We traveled to Vietnam with very little organized before hand apart from our first few nights at Hanoi Asia Palace Hotel Hanoi. The sales manager Mr Le Tuan was extremely helpful in providing recommendations on where to stay for our onwards journey (all of which were excellent) and booking tours, travel and accommodation for us. Staff were available around the clock to assist with any requests. Our room was large and clean with plenty of mod cons and the free daily fruit was a nice addition. We checked out early the day we were catching the night train to Sapa, and after a hot day in Hanoi they let us have shower before organizing transport for us. We arrived back from Sapa on the train at 5am and were not even staying at the hotel before heading off to Halong Bay, but they opened the doors and offered us free of charge breakfast and showers and even a room to sleep a few hours before our tour began. The staff will bend over backwards to meet your needs and don't know how to say no.

"The hotel picked us up at the airport as promised for a swift transfer. The family room was ready on arrival, spacious and clean. Breakfast was great with many choices of traditional noodle soup or freshly cooked omelets, fresh fruits, and the coffee brought to the room in the morning was much appreciated. Mrs. Huyen booked internal flights on request before our arrival, and organized train tickets, tours and hotels for the latter part of our journey. Our Halong Bay cruise was excellent (2D/1N), we would recommend longer if you have the time. We spent two days with Phoenix Cruise, our guide, the food and service on board was fab. The location of the hotel in the old quarter is great and in walking distance of many attractions.Thank you for all."

"THE BEST BOUTIQUE HOTEL IN CENTER OF THE OLD QUARTER Conveniently located in the backpacker's district, food, bars and major sightseeing spots were just around the corner. From the airport approx 45 min by taxi (fare approx 250.000VND - never more than 260.000 ) to the old market DONG XUAN market approx 5 mins on foot, from there maybe another 5 or 10 mins to get Cathedral, and Hochiminh complex etc. What can you expect: very friendly and helpful staffs, Clean simple rooms, Great location, free internet access, breakfast (French bread with egg, marmalade, banana, tea or coffee and orange juice), aircon, fan and television with international channels? Shower is good"

Comments: This hotel is a great if you are looking for the perfect location and value. I researched many hotels before stumbling onto this one. Due to the great reviews, I emailed the hotel and received a quick response from the hotel manager Mr Le Tuan. He was able to help me with my booking and arranged a car to pick me up from the airport. It was too easy.
I arrived in Hanoi and my driver was holding a sign with my name. We were driven in an air conditioned car. The hotel was very clean and the staff was accommodating. I was able to book my my tours, my short trip to Laos, and exchange my money through them. I was impressed by how attentive they were. I left my room at one point and forgot to lock the door. The cleaning lady noticed and immediately informed me. I felt safe.
I was amazed at how close everything was. I didn't need a cab since most of the tourist spots were walking distance.
My favorite part about my stay was the breakfast buffet! There were many choices to pick from. Every morning I could smell the chef cooking. She practically made anything you wanted. I didn't even need to eat lunch I ate so much!
Thanks to all the staff at the hotel for making my trip a pleasant one! I look forward to coming back.
