"Laundry service was fast and good. Oddly enough there was a kettle in the room but no tea or coffee to use with it. There could have been more variety of bread at breakfast (and of cheese). A bit far from city centre (Hoan Kiem Lake)"

"The location of the hotel is far from the centre of town, hence it is not very convenient for tourists who have never been to Hanoi to keep taking a taxi to and from town centre. Also makes going out at night difficult for single women. Language is still a problem at the hotel. Not all the staff speaks English or understand English, which causes misunderstandings occasionally. However, staff is very polite and obliging. Breakfast at he hotel is good but the menu for lunch and dinner is far too limited and not very good. The Singapore fried noodles are nothing like the original stuff, neither are the spring rolls. I think the hotel should keep to Vietnamese food as that is what would interest tourists. Sure, you can retain the usual fast food for children and the less adventurous. I did enjoy my stay at the hotel very much but the only reason why I wouldn't stay there again is simply due to the location."

"I was very disapointed with this hotel the rooms were dreary and old fashioned and really needed to be done up the whole hotel did.The staff were not helpful or friendly and the pool area was also disapointing.I thought it was completely over priced for the money we paid i expected a better standard. "
