| "In terms of value for money, this was probably the best hotel we stayed in in vietnam. The staff were excellent; both friendly and highly attentive and the rooms were of an excellent standard. Also, the trip to Halong Bay which we organised through Asia Queen was fantastic value for money. Other travellers we spoke to got nothing like the amount we got for our money. I highly recommend it!" |

| "Lucky to stay at this hotel because it's in the old quater and easy to travel and find something to eat or do thing.
Staff are nice, friendly and helpful. They provide us everything, bus ticket, trip to halong bay or city tour.
They also always give us the suggestion what we should do in vietnam.

| "The hotel staff do not really speak or understand English. The room considers okay for the price, but a bit smelly. There are several travel agency located nearby where you should compare the price before making the decision." |

| "My family stayed in this hotel for four days i.e from 20-24 December 2007.My family was picked-up from the airport. We liked Mr. Peter, the Manager of the Hotel, very friendly and really 'busy-body', to his guest. Always asked whether the guest was ok or not. The rest of the workers also friendly even they were not that fluent of English. My son really enjoy the stay with the free internet. Thank you Peter!" |

| "I have been stayed in this hotel for 4 days, it was terrible experience. The room was not clean. Basicly no one will clean the room daily, you need to ask for the towel or toilet paper everydays. the staffs wasnot friendly. Hotel Manager keep trying to sell the tour to you which was expensive than the other company or Sinh Cafe.
The bath room is so dirty, and so smelly. At night, you even cannot have a good rest due to renovation outside the building and the guest stays in the hotel make a lot of noise after 11pm , but the hotel staffs had not stop the noise make by the this person.
I am strongly suggested people not to stay in this hotel. This is a bad expericence for booking the budget hotel.

2.- Poor comunication via email
3.- Poor English
4.- Rooms were not claned (staff sleep in your room while you are out)
5.- They will try to cheat you when paying the bill
6.- The staff were writting the hotel reviews themselves
7.- The staff...a bunch of undisciplined kids.
8.- They will insult you if you don't book a tour with them. And it is cheaper to book them in travel agences
9.- You will be charged twin bed room rate while staying in a standard room

| "There are some pirate hotels in Hanoi and, unfortunatelly, this is one of them (it was previously called Camilla Hotel or similar, since they still keep the old banner) Our experience with this hotel has been the most disgusting one in pur trip to Vietnam: - rooms were not cleaned as it was supposed to - when arriving late at night, they won't care about you nd will keep you waiting for a long time until someone attends you - they will try to cheat you when paying the bill: they will add taxes and other concepts that would not apply to you only to get your money - I could not believe my eyes when I saw that the staff (to call it someway because the are a bunch of undisciplined and miseducated kids) were writting the hotel reviews themseves !!! - They will try to rip you off by insistently selling you premium tours. Do not believe a word: they will be like 30-40 USD over the market and literature nothing to be with the reality. - If you complain, they will surely insult you in English, then in Vietnamise and finally the rest will laught at you, without refunding your money for services paid but not rendered. | "Overall very poor interpersonal and service skills. Failed to pick us up at the airport, as arranged. Poor communication via email.Room 201 had poor shower and clogged toilet. Room 501 on our return stay was quite satisfactory, despite water seeping through wall in heavy rain. Hint: Train tickets cost much more through hotels and travel agents. Best to go to the station to purchase them yourself." |
