| "Breakfast buffet left out from 6am & completely infested with ants & the staff non existant. Needless to say that although I had paid for it I chose not to eat. When I mentioned it to reception I got a shrug of the shoulders & "I know"
Booked a tour to Halong Bay through the hotel which was dreadful & no one was interested when I returned to Hanoi. A case of we have had your money tough. Booked I was told through Kim Travel & I stayed in the dirtiest shabbiest hotels & the most rude & unhelpful reps in over 30 years of travelling.
The hotels location is good but thats about all it has going for it & its relatively cheap." |

| "The room was located back half, but we could hear the endless beeps of motorcycles, including throughout the night. The 'roof top' restaurant's menu is quoted in USD and if you paid for the meal in USD (likely in large notes as a traveller) the change is given in VD at thier choice of exchange rate! Being a foreigner we can expect to be somewhat fleeced but didn't like the tricky! The hotel's available and free internet access was a plus and the easy walking distance to the colourful Old Quarters, which offers everything imaginable was handy. But be aware that there are no price tags on street goods and if you are not highly tuned to the sport of haggling, you will be paying 5 to 10 times more than a local, for generally low quality imitation stuff.

| "Highly recommended.Room is clean and spacious. Breakfast is excellent.Good variety of food & fruits. The restaurant is located at the top floor, thus enjoying good view while taking meals.
However, if breakfast can be ready punctually at 6.30am will be excellent.(As we have to be ready by 7.30am to join the local tour, thus,we were a bit rushing for the good breakfast).
One comment here. We requested for a double bed. But we were given 2 single beds. The receptionist told us that he could change a double bed for us the next day.We realised the next day that they just simply combined the 2 single beds to become a double bed.Well, if it was that simple, why can't they did it on the first day for us.(as per our request)In view of this, I feel room service should be improved." |

| "Nice clean place to stay. You are close to everything, as Hanoi is not that big a place anyway. The AC worked well which is very welcome in Vietnam always. They could do more to cool the lobby and top floor restaurant though. The breakfast was good, with a good selection of foods. I liked the view from the restaurant also. For the price, this is an excellent choice." |

| "We stayed there for 4 nights. The positives are: A clean room, Very helpful staff, Walking distance to West Lake and near to Ho Chi Minh Massoleum, Musem etc. Downsides: Basic amenities, internet only through dial-up, limited choice in breakfast, Reception doubles as tour desk and the advice is not very elaborate. Overall an OK place. Krishna & Chitra Maridi" |

| "Stayed in a 'delux' room which was bigger and more isolated from street noise than a standard room. The room was clean and apart from the dead cockroach on the stairs right outside the restaurant I'd say the place was OK." |

| "Hang Nga Hotel is value for money...clean and comfortable except the air-con is not cool. However, it convienently located at central area with shops and eatery place. Recommended if you are looking a simple place to sleep." |
