"Very clean and well appointed hotel with excellent and friendly service. You do need some transport to get to the city centre and other sights and should be prepared to bargain with taxi-drivers. The metered taxis are a rip-off, instead negotiate a flat fee."

"This is a nice hotel and I would definetely stay here again the only down fall is it is a bit of a walk into the old quarter where Hoan Kiem lake is."

"We were pleased with our room at Flower Hotel. We booked a more expensive room, but we probably would've been happy in the standard room. The staff went way out of their way to help us. We had a late flight on our last day in Hanoi. They allowed us to have a late check out and then we kept our bags at the hotel when we went for a bit of dinner. Also, we bought two big pictures and needed something to put them in. The staff all went into action when I requested a big bag to put them in. We stayed closer to the lake earlier in our trip and found that to be a bit easier as we were new to Hanoi. However, once you get used to the city, Flower is not that far away from the centre. We would stay there again."

"The hotel staff was very friendly and efficient. The breakfast was good. The location was not optimal and 15 minutes from the centre. The room was quiet and clean, but somewhat outdated. Compared with similar hotels more in the centre of the old town the room price (US$ 65) was far too expensive."

"the flower hotel was really great! from the time i checked in to the day after i returned from halong bay, the staff was nothing less than super helpful. the hotel is just outside the old quarter, but it's walkable. a great stay and i would stay there again."

"Good hotel. People at the reception are nice and helpful and they try to speak French. Breakfast is OK. I booked a superior category room and it was large enough with a beautiful view on the city (ask for an upper floor). The hotel is quiet and well located close to the old city (Chinese district). Bon hôtel. Les gens à la réception sont sympathiques et serviables et essaient même de parler français. Le petit-déjeuner est correct. J'ai choisi une chambre de catégorie supérieure et elle était suffisamment grande avec une belle vue sur la ville (demander un étage supérieur). L'hôtel est calme et bien situé non loin de la vieille ville (quartier chinois)."

"Asiarooms has the BEST rate for this wonderful hotel. The twin rooms are small but extremely clean and comfortable. One surprising thing is that although located in the old district, the rooms are so quiet at night that you will for sure get a good night sleep. Even the rooms facing the front street (Nguyen Truong To street) are quiet. The decor is the same tasteful one you would expect from the much pricier 5-star hotels. Hotel personels are courteous and extremely friendly and helpful. This hotel deserves every bit of the 3-star standard it claims. I will not hesitate to recommend this lovely hotel to anyone who comes to Hanoi for leisure or business. "
