| "My wife and I had a very good time at this Hotel. It is well placed for walking around town.
We booked a trip to Ho Long BAy with the staff here. We thought this was a Delux trip and when we went to the trip we found out everyone of the other 4 people on the boat, which was great paid less than us. On our return to the Hotel this was rectified and we got a full refund, very good service indeed!
We would stay here again and have no problem recomending this Hotel to others.

| "We stayed at the Fortuan Hotel for 03 nights as booking and extra for 02 nights.Overall,It was nice. The hotel is simple with no extra features. But the rooms are spotless with nice view and quite big, also very clean. Hot water running well. Sheets, towels, changed regularly. But most of all, this hotel in the center of the busy old center of Hanoi is run by a very nice family who lives there. The same persons would serve you breakfast, help you with luggage, answer any your questions. It feels very comfortable in city like Hanoi which can be unsettling sometimes. Another plus is that they have a travel agent at the lobby, that can help you everything along Viet Nam as your requests. All that for 15$_24$ a night.

| "I would like to thank the staff at The Fortuan for making my stay so pleasant during the time in Ha Noi.The service at this hotel was that of a 3 stars hotel with friendly helfull staff!!The rooms where stylish, clean and very comfortable - fantastic value for money. The free internet access for 24 hours was an extra added bonus as was the lovely balcony - very romantic!(N0 211) The location could not have been better that easy walking round the any places in the old town and I would recommend this place to anyone staying in Hanoi.
Enjoy!

| "We are Thai guys stay on January 2007. Hotel stands in the central of shopping area and 5 minutes walk to the night market road and restuarant. Overall it's OK, clean, good breakfast, internet and good staff. Becareful, price of tourist and local people is more difference. Reasonable prices of package tour and vehical are: Mini Bus from airport to city 2 us$ per each person, taxi 10 us$ per car, city tour 12-15 us$, perfume pargodar 15-18 us$, and famous beach oneday trip 18-20 us$ only. Guide leaders very nice but some lunch is not so good." |

| "Good location and nice helpful staff. Organized and good tourdesk(even if they managed to get us train tickets to a train that had already departed, resultng in us having to book a soft seat an sit up all night on the night train from Hanoi to Hue).
Rooms shabby and in need of a face lift as well as the breakfast room." |

| "We had 03 single_ room for two nights as my booking. The staff were very nice with an especially friendly, helpful information desk and a smart reception area. Spacious room with a view over the backs of buildings to the city skyline. Firm enormous bed, great shower, quiet and warmly welcome when we arrived. The room lighting was not good (as usual) and the room cleaning could have been better Excellent central position next to many restaurant for Beer "Bia Hoi" and a bit walks to the lake with lovely along the shore. Fantistic breakfast in a small but very smart restaurant on the ground floor. We should have had an evening meal there....Moreover,with the tours to Halong bay,air tickets...everything is excellent!!! Absolutely staying there again for the next time!!!
