| "The hotel is in a very location (a bit quieter than at the side of the lakes). It is handy for seeing the city and is a short taxi ride to anywhere. Walking is also an option, you can hit the topside of the lake in 15 mins. The lobby bar has always a good band on each night and the staff are very helpful.
Only down side I thought was it was always a extreme smell of cigarette smoke through the lobby and in the 'sports' bar areas. Although the room we had was fine.
I would use this one again on my next trip." |

| "I stayed in the Hilton Opera Hotel for one night on 14th May 2006.
The hotel is beautifully styled consistent with surrounding buildings that the Opera House. It has a magnificent foyer and the room was as you'd expect of the Hilton. The lake was a short walk away, which was a good escape from the intensity of Hanoi's streets.
We checked out of the hotel in the morning and the hotel kept our luggage until our overnight train trip to Sapa, which was excellent. The staff at Reception also assisted us by handling tickets we'd ordered to be delivered to the hotel, even after we had checked out.
I would have no reservation in staying at the Hilton again. It is a beautiful hotel with very professional staff. " |

| "The service at this hotel has improved tremendously in the past two years. It is now comparable to Hilton hotels in Japan, Korea etc.
I was delighted with my stay." |

| "We have stayed in Hilton upon our arrival at Ha Noi as we wanted to have a safe place for the first couple of days. Hilton is located just south of the lake, it is only 10min away by walking to the famous Old Quarter. It is very clean and staff are friendly and efficient, as one would expect from a five star hotel. It has a small but charming swimming pool which was bliss after days of walking in the sweaty weather. It is expensive compared to the other hotels in Old Quarter, but it is luxury and peace of mind. One word of caution re motorcyle drivers, we found it is easy and much cheper to take a taxi rather than the motorcyle to get to the city, in case you don't want to walk for 10min (it only costs 10,000 dong, or less than 1USD). Definitely recommended if you can afford the rate.

| "Service is very good and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Location-a little out of the way but wasnt an issue as transport is easy to get if you are not into walking. The food is fantastic-room service, buffet breakfast and the bakery are all 5 star. You do get what you pay for and we will stay again." |

| "Kudos to the management of the Hilton Opera. The staff was truly welcoming and helpful--from the Health Club to the front desk to the housekeeping to the room service staff to the bellboys who gave assistance giving directions to taxi drivers.
We had two adjoining rooms for our family for five nights and would absolutely recommend the hotel. All requests from Asiarooms were met." |

| "We had a fantastic time at the Hilton Opera Hotel and it was exactly what we hoped for following our long flight to get there. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service. The woman at the Guest Relations desk was outstanding in helping us to organise our onward travel and sightseeing details." |
