Nice hotel in a great location. Staff were friendly and helpful. Pillows were rock hard though - but I'm fussy! One suggestion might be to extend breakfast to at least 10am. 9am is too early for those of us on holidays and longing for a sleep-in! Overall, good value for money.

| "I stayed there at end of September,3nights 4days.I knew hotel is quite antique and old.So I did not surprised about it, just I could not stand the noize which from the road,in front of hotel. You can hear until midnight. And you can wake up at 5am without morning call..so noizy..
Looks room is clean up well everyday, but I met big cockroach one night.
Breakfast is Western and vietnamese,not many choice and not so good.but I can eat pho(Vietnam Noodle soup),quite enjoy it.
So,I thought my stay is not so bad...BUT,when I check out, I asked a taxi to the airport.Front officer called a Hanoi Taxi.A Bell boy offered more cheaper taxi,but I said no thanks.Then after a taxi arrived hotel,that bellboy said something to driver with vietnamese.I did not understand what he said, but because that taxi driver gave some money to bellboy in front of me, I surprised and suspect something..
I knew it takes 30 minutes to the airport, but it took nearly 1 hour, and I paid as a meter, but meter said 366000 don, unbelievable. Because when I arrived to Hanoi, I paid just 250000 don for same distance. I believe they(Bell boy and taxi driver) work together, cheat me. The money which the driver paid to bellboy, must been money which cheat previous guest.........be careful. " |

| "The hotel and the room both appeared to be from another era and require some modernisation. However the location was good and the food in the restaurant was very good. The staff were very pleasant and the travel service located within the hotel was very useful." |
