We spent our first 3 days in Hanoi at the Zephyr hotel because of it's proximity to Lake Hoan Kiem and the Old quarter,but were very disappointed in the room standard.However our last 4 days at the Intercontinental Westlake were superb.We were upraded to an over-water room with buffet breakfast thrown in,and the staff & facilities were excellent.Taxi to the main shopping area ,old quarter & markets was very cheap and it was a pleasure to return home to the more peaceful surrounds of the Westlake area.Our first booking via Asiarooms was very streamline and uncomplicated and we will not hesitate to use them again in the future.
