| "This was a wonderful location for us and the rooms were large...but what really made it good was the staff. They were so courteous and helpful at all times! It is not elegant or upscale, but is a great deal for the money! Breakfast was included and was a mix of American & Vietnamese dishes." |

| "A good value hotel with pleasant staff. Good breakfast facilities. Location pretty good. Internet availability was expensive and this was a detraction although the availability of options in the City are limitless. " |

| "The room was big and clean, the staff was friendly.
The breakfast was great.
The location is not perfect, is not close to the nightlife, but you can walk and all the important places are close." |

| "My family of 3 adults overnight here from Hanoi to catch a flight back to US. We had a clean, spacious triple room with 3 twin beds, and large windows. It is a suite with a living room, nicely furnished. Bathroom is good size by US standards, large compared to our hotel in Hanoi.
We had an early flight next morning. The desk kindly arranged for a boxed breakfast, which consists of a ham and cheese sandwich and banana. This is nice as food is expensive at the airport. Can't speak location as we did not spend time in the city." |

| "I stayed at Best Western Chancery on 2 separate occasions, for one night each (22&24 July 07). Overall, the hotel was very decent. On the 1st night I had a much larger room, with a separate lounge room & 2 a/c's (a must!). The lounge room was great for extra space, but no 2nd TV. Small fridge & TV in bedroom (large bed), but very small bathroom with a shower that allows water to run out onto the carpet in the bedroom. This is not a luxury hotel, but it is clean and nice. My rooms were both away from the main street (a very busy one) so fairly quiet and easy to sleep. The service was a bit hot/cold depending on who was on the front counter, but always good enough. The breakfast is served in a large room on the top level, but choice for westerners is restricted to tea/toast and maybe an omelet. If you're happy to eat traditional Vietnamese breakfast, you'll have no worries with the large choice. The best bit about the hotel is its location. Took me about 25mins from the airport in a taxi (80000 VND). Less than 10min walk to War Remnants museum and Reunification Palace. Less than 15mins walk to Ben Than Market. I strolled from the Bach Dang Jetty on Saigon River to the hotel in about 25mins. The backpacker area of Pham Ngu Lao is about 10mins walk away - good for i/n, restaurants and tour offices. There's always a couple of cyclos or motor bikes o/s if you prefer not to walk. All in all a decent hotel for the price, and I wouldn't hesitate to stay again if in HCMC." |
