| "This is a very nice hotel that has all of the essential ammenties. You will feel comfortable here. The staff is excellent and attentive to all of your needs whether it be in house service, translation service or assistance with recreation or tourism out side of the hotel. Food at the resturant is good, but not five star as I had read in other comments. The price is ok, but not necessarily a bargain. Overall, I can say, in good concious, that I highly recommend the Liberty1 Hotel." |

| "Good hotel, no frills, solid quality, good location. We stayed here before and will stay here again in the future.
Only minus is the noise of the in-house disco before mid-night." |

| "Our deluxe room had everything we needed and was spotless. Good firm mattress (pillows a bit too firm, though), mini fridge, TV with lots of channels, shower-tub in bathroom with OK water pressure. Service is very friendly, guards/doormen extra helpful with taxis. Location is excellent, just 2 blocks from a big park and 3 or 4 from a wet market with a good food court. Unless you're wedded to being in District 1 right by the river this hotel is centrally located.
The only downside is the disco which we could hear at night even though our room was on the 4th floor. That said, the music only lasts till midnight and we were so tired every evening we fell asleep right away in spite of the persistent throb.
Good value (for Saigon - hotels in general are ridiculously expensive here) and we would certainly not hesitate to stay here again." |

| "The service in the hotel is excellent. The staff at the restaurant, lobby or be it the housekeeping service staff, are very polite and helpful. It was raining that day, the security staff remembered us as the hotel guests and walk up to shelter us at the road. It's really heart warming. " |

| "We stayed at Liberty 1 for 6 days towards the end of March 2008 .Staff were friendly and helpful ,particularly the guys at the door. They met us every day with a smile and since I walk assisted by my canes ,they took my arm every day to guide me up and down the stairs always with a broad smile .I guess that if they were capable of lifting my 141 kilo frame ,they would have done that too !
The hotel is reasonably priced ,the breakfast is fine even for Europeans and the man making the omelettes each morning does an exceptional job .The waiters /waitresses can not do enough for you .This is close to the markets and to Singapore Airlines and Thai Airways . The desk offers a fair exchange rate for your Aussie dollar which is remarkably better than the guys at the airport .I rate their friendliness and helpfulness even greater than that at the Marriotts and that is usually pretty good .
This is a winner when you go to Ho Chi Minh City .

| "We could not fault the service ,friendliness and professionalism of the staff at the Liberty Hotel . The room was clean with no evidence of dirty floors or mildewed walls .The buffet breakfast was excellent with a variety of dishes and fresh fruit .
However , the 2 negatives of our stay at this hotel were ,firstly , the airconditioning unit was too small for the size of the room and , secondly , since the hotel is located at the corner of 2 busy streets , it was difficult to get a good night's sleep sometimes due to the constant car and scooter horn blasts. | "Liberty 1 is a good hotel that suffers a bit from its location being outside the city area and main precincts for the average English speaking tourist who is not familiar with HCMC. For the tourist market some good maps and advice on attractions (and nearby facilities)would be a great plus. The staff are without a shadow of a doubt excellent, courteous and very professional.I was indebted to them. My experience with the hotel was very favourable and I would recommend it to others as a good reliable place to stay." |
