"The hotel location is very good and it is opposite the Sheraton hotel. It is a very convenient location. Hotel facilities are minimum but room is clean. Breakfast spread is poor but then it is no less than other 3 stars hotel. The hotel is very old and if one does not mind the distance, there are new 3 stars hotels further away."

"This hotel is not a three star rated hotel any more. Dirty carpet, bed has polyfoam which is sag. Not worth for the money that you can get as a 3 star hotel in HCM city."

"Nice, clean, large rooms with air conditioned and plenty of TV channels to watch in English and Vietnamese and other languages, nice personnel (could be better in English communication though). Wonderful location! Definitely would stay there again especially for the price."

"I had a "Deluxe" room, as all the Standard were sold out. The room was large, with a double bed and single. The bathroom was a converted clothes closet, complete with sliding door. Tiny, but adequate. The room was in desperate need of new carpeting. The carpet was old glue-down style with large patched spots. The room was on the 1st floor, facing the street and was very noisy in the morning. The location is great, right next to the Sheraton. Easy walking distance to everything on Dong Khoi and Hai Bai Trung. The breakfast is from 6:00 to 9:00, which made it worthless for me. Most hotels serve until 10:00 or 11:00. The front desk staff was courteous and allowed a late checkout of 3:00pm, as I had a late flight. Overall, this is on the order of a slightly upscale Motel 6. I would probably just pick a good mini-hotel next time. The facilities would be similar, and the price about half. "

"We liked our hotel and the service very much. Though we would have liked access to an internet, there was a cyber cafe a few doors down, so that was not a problem. It was clean and affordable. There was one night desk clerk who helped us immensely by driving to the airport to retrieve a key that one person (not me!) forgot to turn in. His help was really appreciated by us. That is a sample of the good service we received at the Saigon Hotel. We certainly recommend this hotel."

"We are surprised that the room and the bathroom was really clean. It was beyond our expectations. The hotel even change the linens everyday..making your bed feel fresh and clean. The location of the hotel was fantastic. Definitely value for money! Worth staying."
