"The Hoi An Hotel was a very pleasnt surprise. Set in lush grounfds, great pool but right in the middle of the town. The rooms were huge and comfortable, the breakfast OK and service very good. "

"We thought this was an excellent hotel for the price. No complaints at all."

"We stayed at the Hoi An Hotel for 3 nights in a deluxe room and were happy with what we got for our money. If you stay for 3 nights or more you get a complimentary meal voucher for 2 at the hotel's restaurant, this was a generous set menu meal worth about $18-20 and the service was great. The hotel pool is busy due to the bus tour groups that come through and it's hard to get a sunlounge but it quitened down at night after dinner. The location is pretty good and only a short walk or ride down to the river, restaurants and shops. Our room was spacious and clean with a nice view overlooking the pool on the 3rd floor, it was very quiet. Breakfast was pretty good for the price. The reception staff are helpful and made sure we were happy during our stay. Bicycles are avaiable for hire at the hotel for 15,000 VD a day - the standard local rate and internet is about 15,000 VD per half hour - a bit annoying considering the cheap guesthouses provide for free. Be prepared for the hotel's airport transfer driver's attempt to sell you car tours during your stay - something we haven't experienced elsewhere!"

"Great location; close to shopping area and restaurants; taxi ride to beach but fares are cheap. Great pool. Friendly staff. Definitely value for money."

"We had a 21/2 week stopover in Vietnam, in this hotel we stayed for 8 nights as we want to enjoy and be restful as well, people are really friendly and must love soccer. The european soccer was on and in the outside cafe the vietnamese people were watching on a big screen whoever was playing. The service was good, people were friendly, our Senior room was grand with a sitting area. It is close to the market and shops. The food in the hotel is cheap(for us) and very good. We did not try to eat out as footpaths were very bad to walk in the dark."

"Simply excellent location within 5 mins of Hoi An town. Been to this hotel 5 times and service is brilliant. Superb pool and simply excellent value for money. Minibus takes you to the beach and sister hotl for a few dollars. Delux rooms are large, good beds and v clean."

"this hotel is conveniently located in the delightful old town of Hoi An which is very walkable. The friendly staff are very welcoming & they have a very pleasant spa on site for massage that was good & reasonable. They need to work on their fitness/gym room, it has potential! It would upgrade the hotel to a higher standard. The breakfast area is lovely, with chef making omlettes. I think it's great value & comfortable! "

"Good hotel right in a great location in Hoi An. A stones throw from the shops, market and great restuarants Hoi An has to offer. The hotel is older in style but very comfortable. We had a senior deluxe room and it was more than adequate. Clean and comfortable with a good size bathroom and balcony. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool was great and well used by us ( its was very very hot..) We were undecided whether to stay in town or on the beach in Hoi An but we were very happy we stayed in town with such great access to everything. The only negative I could see would be that we were on the 3rd floor and with no elevator...Not a problem for us but for people with less mobility I would request a room on the lower floor. If you want a small intimate boutique hotel this is not for you but a good 3 star choice in great central location "
