| "I and my girlfriend stayed there 3 days during my trip to VietNam.It's well located in Hue business center,we used to walk to Dong Ba market from here.For a 3 star hotel,it's very well run with friendly staff looking over cleaned room and pretty good breakfast.
The only drawback I found was language barrier,but maybe because of my Aussie accent anyway!(My girlfriend was keen to learn some Hue's words from a female staff,it's was fun she said!)
Good value for money,I'd like to recommend this hotel for other traveller in Hue.

| "Hotel was alright but certainly not of the standard we were expecting. We paid USD$50-70 all around Vietnam and were generally very impressed with the rooms, however, this hotel for usd50 represents very poor value for money.
Hotel room was old and carpet frayed.
Staff were friendly enough but their english was very poor - trying to get things like a kettle proved impossible. " |

| "Dear everybody!
we are really surprise about the bad information by Mr ERIC. We ensure that our hotel is new and clean and it is not dark at all.All rooms with balcony.We confess that there's an unexpected stain on the carpet in the room which maybe... MR ERIC used to stay and we have the carpet mended already.Our staff had tried to upgrade him to a more beautiful room with nice view but he refused without restraint and wanted to change hotel immediately.We are sure that our staff are friendly, enthusiastic and always ready to give the customers the best information..
... We hope that many others guests who used to stay at my hotel will have a true appreciation towards our Hotel.

| "Don’t stay at the Ngoc Huong hotel in Hue!
First of all, the hotel was nothing like the photos on the web. Those photos of the rooms and the outside of the hotel are completely false!
The misleading and fraudulent photos are not the most important factor for not staying here. The most important factor is the disgusting room. I couldn’t stay there because it was not clean and completely unacceptable. The bed and refrigerator both had hairs in them. How can a person sleep in a bed with other people’s hair? In addition, the carpet was stained and even had an iron burn in it.
I requested and paid for a deluxe room and was given a room which was anything but deluxe. It was very small, dark and dirty. The bathroom door didn’t close completely and there was a very old folded up towel for a bathmat.
Besides the completely unacceptable room, the staff was not friendly at all. Upon check-in, they were efficient, but treated us with indifference that bordered on being rude. Upon checking out, they were completely rude.The Ngoc Huong hotel is the type of place that makes online hotel booking a little scary." |
