| "We found this hotel very relaxing with exceptional service. When my wife lost our camera, the hotel went to great lengths to search for it and return it to us. They gave my wife a complimentary cake on her birthday. In general, they really looked after us.
The only negatives were that it took 5 minutes before the water was hot enough for a shower and the location is a free speedboat + a 55000 dong cab fare to the city.
We would recommend this hotel to those who want a relaxing holiday.

| "Great hotel, staff always happy to help when needed. Boats to mainland run very frequently so no problems getting back and fourth when you want to. Pool is huge so can always find a quite spot to swim and lay, beds on the beach (own private beach) and tray service. Only complaint (very minor) is the rides at the theme park and water park aren't open often so may be disappointing for kids etc." |

| "I booked a triple room for 3 adults and 1 child. I paid breakfast for the child. The room was actually a double room with an extra bed, so there was not much room to move around. The booking process was not very family friendly. Had to go through several emails to get things straightened out.
The services at the hotel were exceptional. A couple restaurants on site need improvements in number of staff as well as ensuring that there are no preferential treatments among guests. Good place for western food. For Vietnamese food, go to the city.
For budget travellers, I would recommend staying at a hotel on the city side. Take the cable car ride to the island to make use of the water park.
Nha Trang is beautifull and worth to come back, but not necessarily the same hotel." |

| "We stayed at this resort for the weekend 1-3rd of august 2008 as a treat. We consider ourselves 'flash'packers but really wanted to splurge out for the weekend. We paid approx. 150 usd pn. It was well worth it. The service was great. The only fault was room service was a bit slow. I read on previous reviews that english communication with staff wasnt good, but I didnt find it a problem. Perhaps other reviewers forget they are in a country where english is a foreign language.
I also read other reviews that had issues with medical help. I suffered diahroea and my partner had a nasty motorcycle burn on his calf, we were treated at the clinic onsite free of charge by a friendly and knowledgable english speaking nurse.
We enjoyed a private lesson of yoga one morning with the recreation officer.
The resort is a great 5 star resort, I would say its more suitable to families, elderly etc mainly because of the associated themepark, shopping mall, water pak etc but also because of the expense. The meals were quite dear. However the buffet breakfast has a huge array of eastern and western tastes to suit everyone and is more than enough to keep you going till dinner time. Asiana restaurant is probably the best value for money and the tastiest option, but its very popular so service can be a bit slow.
If youre staying longer than a couple of nights I recommend going into Nha Trang City for meals, its much cheaper there.
My partner and I would definately go back, it was one of the highlights of our stay in Nha Trang." |

| "My family thoroughly enjoyed our time at Vinpearl and it was a lovely beginning to our month stay in Vietnam. If you're wanting a holiday poolside or relaxing on the beach - Vinpearl Resort has both! Room prices are not as cheap as other places in Vietnam, but we upraded to Executive rooms upon arrival to resort. My only complaint was fold out/additional bed in room - very hard and uncomfortable. Surprised no proper triple rooms, as imagine a lot of families would visit resort. No ATM or facilities to purchase snacks, magazines, sunscreen etc that some other resorts have. Meals at resort are good, but you are limited to only a couple of restaruants. Tennis, golf, etc all cost extra - which is also a shame - as think they should be complimentary with stay. Staff are friendly, so it was an enjoyable stay" |

| "This hotel has the best beach in Nha Trang and you should stay here for the use of it. The speedboat is pretty cool and is really frequent and runs throughout the night. The pool is massive, the rooms are really clean and the breakfast buffet is good.
Knocked down on scores due to small issues including having to sleep in twin beds when a double was ordered (they say asia rooms booked it for a twin room so not sure who is at fault), the shower flooded the bathroom after every shower and on occasions the service at the pool bar was poor.
Overall we had a great time there." |

| "VinPearl was by far the best place we stayed on our trip. We arrived and blown away by our room. It was so clean and modern and had a great bed and bathroom. Views were amazing and was much better than we were expecting.
Service here is excellent as well. They have a shuttle bus to take you to the waterpark/theme parks or the boats to take you to the main land. Pool is sensational and the beach huts and hammocks on the beach are a great place to have a cold drink and read a book.
The breakfast is excellent and the service at all places around the hotel was exceptional. We ate at the Italian restaurant (twice) and Chinese restraurant on the island. Both served great food and the service was excellent.
We found the main island of Nha Trang dissappointing so were really happy that we stayed on the island. It is perfect for a relaxing week away but not much else. You do feel a little isolated so i would not go there for a party week, but was perfect for a week away with my girlfriend.
I would definitely stay here again if i was to go back to Nha Trang. This hotel and island would have cost a fortune to build and then maintain and you can tell. No expense is spared and it really does blow you away. " |

| " Two year ago we stay at the vinpearl and it was absolutely perfect. That is the reason that why we deside to come back this year for our get away.
We was very disapointed. The service was very bad.
It took 2hrs and thirty minutes for check in even we already have the confirmation number. And it was take almost another 2hrs before our lugages could tranfer to our room. The rooms at the deluxe building were very small to be rate for 5 stars hotel. The staffs at the front desk had no glue for what they are doing. The system at the Vinpearl was absolutely lack of management. The managers were only stand and watch instead of making the decision to sult the problem.
Every times we come in and out of the resort they are checking the room's key (ID) with our picture and information about ourself which we found very disturf .We paid for the peace of mind and have a good time not the id checking like the parole criminal.
The Vinpearl Land themepark was horrible.Copying the western but lack of imagination and creation. They checking my ID again when I went out.I paid for the ticket to get in .Why they have to check my room's key(ID) when I want to get out(stupidty of the management). Then when they make the mistake on my room's key instead of appolozise they call the police. What can the police will do to a paying customer. They don't understand the right of the customer.Never!!Never come back to Vinpearl....
