| "Great hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and all spoke very good English. They could not have been more helpful in assisting us with our onward travel plans. The only negative point is that the local tours run by the hotel are too expensive, and unfortunately we were unable to locate any other tour operators in Ninh Binh so we had to accept the costly hotel ones." |

| "We stayed at this hotel in December 2007. The rooms are exactly as shown on the website. They are roomy and clean and the bathroom is fine. Rooms in the new wing are $US5 more - which only becomes known on checkout, despite earlier emails confirming two 1st class rooms (they put us in the new wing and then demanded extra payment). The manageress turned into a banshee when we disputed this, and we only agreed to pay as the staff member was in trouble.The hotel restaurant is fantastic, great selection and good prices. There is a large two storey restaurant on the main road where we went to for dinner. The worst meal in Vietnam in all 3 1/2 weeks - service lousy and food inedible.Day tour through hotel great, the young guide was exceptional." |

| "I was travelling in Vietnam for three weeks with my two teen-aged children and this was the first hotel we stayed in and by far the best. (We were budget travellers.)
We had a large triple room (3 king-single beds) with fresh flowers, in the back section of the hotel. It was spotlessly clean. The window was double glazed so we slept soundly despite the traffic noise outside.
We were there in the cold season so the heating in the room kept us very comfortable.
The reception staff could not have been more helpful, in fact, the receptionist was also our guide for our day tour. As very few people in Ninh Binh appeared to speak English, he was invaluable in helping us throughout our stay, even taking my son to get his hair cut! The hotel arranged tours and had bikes to hire.
The food and service in the restaurant was adequate.
A fantastic place to stay.
