| "Very good value for the money you pay for it but at this price there will be downsides. Free interenet in lobby (PC and wireless). Relatively large clean rooms (for Vietnam) with good views. Breakfast at best OK in variety and quality. Evening meal at hotel rather better in quality. Shower once checked out on last afternoon much appreciated. Location at edge of town not the most ideal. DIYers would be not be proud of finish but concrete walls very soundproof. Decor a bit tired but work was ongoing to freshen it up." |

| "The Gold Sea was just fine for our needs. We greatly appreciated the heating blankets for it was quite cold. The buffet breakfast was suffering but the people were very nice. It was a short and pleasant walk into the main part of town and was on the same path to the Cat Cat hike. Carpet was a bit dirty but everything else was clean." |

| "Wonderful hotel in a wonderful location. Unfortunately our taxi driver couldn't find it (it's on the way to Cat Cat village if you need directions!)
Fantastic food at the hotel, soft comfortable beds with electric blankets and warm covers. Hot water was pretty much always available, and the staff were very helpful.
There are a lot of stairs, so I don't think this property would be suitable for the elderly or infirm.
Definitely stay again." |

| "Location is good as face to mountain view. If you like to enjoy the nature fresh air, it will ideal place. Just like to complaint about the sincere of front-end staff. There is one guy work at front-end, as my train depart at 12:30 noon and i have book the transportation service via front-end with time 10:30am (thru' other front-end staff). Afterthat, this guy tell me that the bus service only have at 7:30am (probably he can move new guest in and request me to check out early), he lie to me that only bus service depart at 7:30am. Actually i don't mind to check out early and put my luggage at front-end office, just wouldn't like the way of such guy to lie to hotel guest." |

| "The Sapa Goldsea Hotel is a good value for money hotel. We booked the deleuxe room with a view and were not dissapointed. The misty views were great and then we were very lucky as the sun came out.
The table and chairs on the balcony were great.
The rooms are functional rather than cosy as are the facilities. It is clean and basic but given the price it is good value.
My only gripe with the Sapa Goldsea is the cost of their additional services. We found the Front Desk quotes for private car hire very expensive. It is worth asking for a few quotes beforehand.
