The steps to get out the pool were rusted through and collapsed when trying to get out causing grazing down my shins that didnt bother me too much , but when i informed the staff the didnt seem bothered one bit . i had to stop a child using these , however missed a further person trying to get out
the pool. after they complained something was finally done. i would not let my child ever visit here with that attitude to safety.

My first impression of my room was that it was very musty/mouldy, but opening the window soon dispersed the smell and then I enjoyed being there. The hotel itself is somewhat run down - the power went on and off quite often, sometimes the 3 TV channels were reduced to 1, and sometimes I couldn't
get the hot water system to work. From my part6icular section of the hotel the walk to the hotel restaurant was rather long hazardous, particularly in the dark or when it was raining. All guests need a torch and an umbrella. The restaurant menu was far too western - fried noodles, fried rice, burgers etc. Some good curries would have been a welcome addition. All the staff were friendly and helpful. In sum, its a good place to stay if you want to access things in the Sepilok area, but if you are looking for a hotel holiday, then this is not the place.
It was a basic accommodation but very presentable. We had a lovely dinner at their restaurant. Our breakfast was very standard but nice. The waitresses need to be more attentive to the guests and explain more re: menu for breakfast. Overall we had a very nice stay.

Basic but nice
Enjoyed our stay here at the Sepilok Jungle Resort. Atmosphere very relaxed, walking around grounds very back to nature. Interesting design and layout. Resort getting a little tired, accommodation should suit anybody except the more fussy of those who want five star treatment. We stayed in
the deluxe suites which had air conditioning, no fridge but had an en suite and was very cool and clean. Only complaint restaurant needed cold beer as this was served at what felt like room temperature which does not suit Australian!!!!! We would stay again.
A solid refuge in the jungle. Food was the big positive and the easy mood of the staff.
Room was not the best, but good...
Room was not the best, but good enough. Bed was short for Dutch people, I think 1.80 m.
But the garden was really beautifull! Swimming pool was also excellent.
Breakfast was o.k.
A good place for people who enjoy the nature and take a basic room for granded.
nice place to stay one or two...
nice place to stay one or two nights; quite old facilities but clean.
