A room with a view
This was our second stay in this hotel since 2006. The room we stayed in was spacious, but needed renovation. The service is fine. The breakfast is up and down in quality and also everytime you have to figger out where they put your choice of food. You're in the middle of Saigon, that means always street noise, but the location is very fine and everything can be walked!
Inside the hotel it can be noisy of moving chairs/tables in the restaurant (there are some solutions for that, isn't it?), or loud music from the restaurant/bar.
For a few days it is a good choice!

Nice room at a reasonable price
The hotel is located near by traveler's street. Everything was great. However, my room was on the third floor and I could hear all kinds noises from the street even though the window was closed.

In the center of the city
It's a really clean and comfortable hotel in the center of HCM. Close for the most important places to visit and from the bus station. The restaurant, on the last floor of the building offers a very nice buffet for breakfast included in the prize. If you are not very exigent you can find cheaper hotels around that they are also good and clean. It is not necessary to pay so much to spend two nights in Saigon.

Lovely greeting
Concierge was accommodating and staff friendly on arrival. Room was modern and clean, quite comfortable. We only stayed 1 night as we move elsewhere with a pool. District is more where backpacker accommodation is located.

Liberty 4 was an exceptional Hotel. we initially booked for 4 and then another 2 nights but changed and stayed there for 7 consecutive nights. Reception was initially a little stayed and we a little confused when asked to pay for the first 4 nights on check in - - however once we had seen the room and verified the accomodation we did this. From this time on reception staff were friendly and attentive. Security staff were good as well. Housekeeping was excellent and the rooms were cleaned to perfection. We also had some laundry done and this was to my (rather picky) standard I was very impressed. We had room service meals twice and although good it was not exceptional by any means. Breakfast was suitable but boring -- the same ingredients daily with an egg station but nothing else of note. My one real concern was the tour operator they referred us to and I have taken this up with the management. I would suggest that if you are considering staying there look at alternative tour operators. Would we stay there again? Definately. Was it value for money? Yes.

Value for $
3-star hotel but I would say it is up to 4-star standard. Room is clean and toilet is nicely renovated. Service is good and people there are polite; breakfast at top floor with good city view. Lift is small so prepare to walk, anyway only 9 floors. Located at District 1 near Sinh Cafe - one of the most popular local travel agent. Nearby many restaurants and bars provide good food at reasonable price. Remember only take cabs under big company's names. There are con taxi around installed with fake meter charging 300k just for a short distance. But don't worry, just refuse to pay and say you will call police. Do check with the bell boy what is the right price, they are very friendly. Ho Chi Minh, quite a place to visit, no regret!

My first impression of this hotel was...
My first impression of this hotel was "WOW". They helped me from my taxi who tried to scam me. so the service side of things was great. I couldnt get a room with a window so it was hard to wake up in time as i didnt have an alarm which was the only down side. I would recommend this hotel for any one.
