We arrived for a conference and stayed...
We arrived for a conference and stayed on for an extra few days to explore the city. The front desk staff and the room service staff were excellent The hotel is proudly five star. We would love to stay again.

The hotel is centrally located in District...
The hotel is centrally located in District One - in the heart of the city. Rooms are big and they also have an elaborate breakfast. Very friendly staff and will definetely stay at this hotel again.

WE HAD ONE NIGHT STAY AT CARAVELLE...
WE HAD ONE NIGHT STAY AT CARAVELLE HOTEL AT THE END OF OUR HONEYMOON IN VIETNAM DURING MID JAN 2009. THE HOTEL GREETED US WITH ABOUT 3 DOZEN RED ROSES IN OUR ROOM AND A CAKE TOGETHER WITH LATE CHECK OUT. IT WAS TRULY THE BEST HOTEL CHOICE FOR US. WE ESPECIALY LIKED THE LOCATION OF THE HOTEL, IT FEELS MORE SECURED AND COMFORTABLE AROUND THIS AREA THAN ANY OTHER AREA IN HCMC. MY WIFE HAD BEEN USING THIS HOTEL BEFORE, AND SHE SUGGESTED WE STAYED THIS TIME, AND WE WILL STAY AT THIS HOTEL AGAIN NEXT TIME. THE ONLY NEGATIVE ASPECT IS THE STAFF AT THE DOOR ARE NOT FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL ENOUGH. WHEN WE ARRIVED, THE DOOR MAN JUST STOOD THERE LOOKING AT US WITHOUT HELPING TO UNLOAD OUR LUGGAGES FOR CHECK IN UNTIL WE ASKED A COUPLE OF TIMES. OTHER STAFF AT THE DOOR LOOKED LIKE THEY ARE VERY BORED...THE BREAKFAST BUFFET IS ALSO EXCELLENT. ROOM RATES NEED TO COME DOWN THOUGH.

The one thing we remember the most...
The one thing we remember the most is the experience with concierge. Vietnam Airlines did not load our luggage onto our flight so we were without luggage for over 24 hours. Concierge was great about getting updates from Vietnam Airlines and trying to make our stay most enjoyable.

The hotel services are quite with efforts...
The hotel services are quite with efforts but not mature. Sometimes we met a almost novice staff at that hotel. But, remember, the services are providing with efforts. It helps us to be patience and stay with some of the comfort feelings. Facilities are clean and useful, but bathroom is little aged. And they still has smoking rooms and we are assigned to one of that - Even we are not smokers.

We like to stay at this hotel...
We like to stay at this hotel as the final days of our holiday.The location is perfect for shopping and restruants.The staff are always friendly and nothing is an effort for them if you need assistance or extra requests.The rooms are very comfortable and big.The pool area is very nice and kept cleaned.The cleaners come in the room 2 or sometimes 3 times a day to change towels etc.The hotel is very quiet and their restruants are very good.We did notice on this stay and same on previous stays it does appear alot of business people use this hotel.The only thing we didnt like was the top bar was too smoke filled to enjoy the live band.The hotel does have a seperate area at breakfast for smokers but the smoke always seems to find us.This was the only fault with the overall stay.We will be going back again to Caravelle next year.
