Small but comfy.
The hotel is about 20-30 minutes walk to the nearest JR station but only a short walk to the subway so getting around is easy. The room was small but comfortable with TV, microwave, fridge, air conditioning, even a little balcony. The lack of room service was not a problem for us, the reception staff will change your towels free of charge if you take them down, and there's a laundry room downstairs. The reception staff were always helpful and spoke good English. Some English TV channels would have been nice, as would a bit more cupboard space for clothes but overall it was good value for money and we would stay again.

Close to all things major; museum, castle, shopping, supermarkets, food (eat in and take out). Fantastic location in a very clean and tidy suburb. On days that you don't feel like doing much travel, just take a walk around Otamae and you'll be sure to find something that interests you :) Staff were friendly and helpful, especially seeing as how we got a little lost and turned up late. Excellent hotel, would definitely stay there again, and would recommend to fellow travelers.

Cheap room but unsuitable for big group of 7
Clean place however smaller than what i expected. I booked a place for 7 and my friend booked another room for 7 but was charged 100 dollars more for 5 nights. When asked what was the difference in room, the man muttered something. When requested to inspect the room, the man refused. Upon comparison of room both rooms were identical. Very unhappy. Traveling as a big group, I also had two friends book a room for 5 each. Very different in type of accomdation provided with varying cost of each. My advice is to double check the rooms before you pay in full. If traveling in a big group expect a room for 4 to be added with an extra room to sleep another 3 on the floor with mats. Just consider getting a room for 4x2. Maybe similar price but well worth the extra space (and bathroom). If you dont mind small spaces and budget prices, then stay but If i was to travel to japan again i would go luxury and pay the extra price.

I think the room size is ok, but the bathroom is very old and small...
And the location is just soso.. but the price is reasonable.

comfortable place
the place looks nice. there are washingmachines. there are some shops around and the subway is within walking distance.
I think the rooms are not really very clean, but for a few nights it's fine.

Osaka escapade
Our family enjoyed our stay at the Weekly Mansion. There was difficulty, though because there was only one toilet for the 3 room apartment. The staff was courteous and very accomodating.
The presence of laundry room with washers and dryers were a plus.
All in all, we got our money's worth.

affordable stay for groups
the mansion was not hard to find, within walking distance from train station. price-wise is very much affordable, especially since we get an upgrade from 4 pax room to 7 pax room. bath ammenities also provided. overall rooms were clean and comfortable. there's also kitchen and fridge available to be used. wouldnt mind staying in this place again if i get the chance to visit Osaka again in the future.

Happy Travelers
This hotel is fantastic,clean, central to the subway,
friendly and helpful. Wish I had stayed longer.
I would not hesitate in staying there again.

During my stay Weekly Mansion i found...
During my stay Weekly Mansion i found it to be quite relaxing and pleasurable. The staff were curtious and friendly. I had a small problem trying to communitcate things across (this was due to my lack of japanese). Apart from the language issue I had a great time. When you get into your room it is almost like a second home where you can go and come as you please.
