Internet and baggage service
Most quality hotels now include free Internet , not Crown Plaza. I believe they are less concerned about providing full value to the customer than another money making center. Also no one offered to carry our bags from front desk to taxi except young lady behind the counter. My wife and I carried our own

October 2011 stay
Excellent all round service in all areas (apart from the Hotel Taxi Service). Front desk, restaurant, room and all staff and services really very very good. The one complaint relates to the Hotel Taxi Service - don't use it unless you are prepared to pay exhorbitant fees. For example, a taxi from the hotel to Manila Zoo (and taxis pull up out the front all the time) cost about 150 pesos but the Hotel Taxi Service quoted 500 pesos and it was the same for other planned trips to the aquarium, domestic and international airport. Understand there is and should be a surcharge but it is way too high and I pity the good people trying to sell the service to hotel stayers.

Oxford , a good deal in manila
nice hotel ; very friendly people , above all at the breakfast and doormen ; the deluxe room is very large ; internet not free but very fast ; very good breakfast in a nice place ; no pool ; good bed ; curtains ; bath with shower ; desk for work enough large

Very Poor Experience
My experience at Oxford Suites was dismal.. in fact I left the hotel early due to being treated like a dog. On Check-in I was quoted a rate US$200. higher than what was confirmed with AsiaRooms.com and told I needed a US$100. deposit for incidentals. (note- there is a quality/low cost laundry next door and a 7-11 less than 1 minute away). That resolved with much effort, and very rude treatment I ran into a further difficulty. My Credit Card was rejected on first swipe. This had nothing to do with validity or funds. It was due to many small banks in America are cautious of charges from the Philippines. One simple phone call home resolved it. The problem was I needed to wait 2 days after the Week-end to make the call. I had previously stayed 3 times at Oxford and that fact had been stored in their Data-Base. I felt that being a returning guest, since 2008 booked through AsiaRooms.com using the very same Credit Card. and the fact I paid the day rate in cash would at least buy me 1 day (from Sunday to Monday) to call America. This was not to be. I was made to feel like a criminal, my room was never made-up and I was hounded continually. The property showed their true face. Your presence there is not genuinely appreciated or respected. I moved just across the street to what turned out to be a great place to stay at 1/2 the price. In fact there are many such places with-in a minute of Oxford. In my opinion Oxford Suites is best avoided. Dan/USA

bad hotel
first i am not complete 3night in the hotel only two bc they took more money for charge not the same price i took throw asiaroom , and the hotel it is very old nothing work in room everytime i am call the serivce to help me , maybe that hotel must be to be one star better remove that hotel from asiaroom side.

OXFORD SUITES IN MAKATI
The hotel on P Burgos in Makati, is on a short road filled with many bars on both sides of the road. It gets colourful at night with all the ladies going to work and customers looking for the best place to spend their money. Lots of food outlets in the area. Short taxi ride to Glorietta and all the outlets there. Hotel was excellent value for money...big room and bathroom...everythng worked, sevrice was very fast and attentive. Internet should be free but it is not and 384 pesos for a 24 hours.

Convenient location
Convenient location in Makati, for business and entertainment. WiFi is extra but relatively cheap. There are good restaurants closeby.

Happy customer
The room and facilities were great, the staff were friendly and helpful and the Breakfast was substantial so i would recommend this place and stay there again myself. I also think it was good value for money.
